Good news and bad news. The key halves fit together and opened the front door. And the zombies are well. But getting the front door open doesn't seem to have changed out situation much. Still, it is nice to get out of the house. There's a post office in the village, so I'm going to send a letter to Headquarters once I find enough money for postage.

[Lenalee can tell something is wrong the moment she wakes up. She's in a strange bed and in a strange room. She huddles under the covers for a few minutes, squeezing her eyes shut in hopes that when she opens them again she'll be back in her room. But the view remains the same.]
Brother?
[Her small voice echoes softly around the room. But she can't see her beloved brother anywhere in the room. So she calls a little louder.]
Big Brother?
[And still she gets no response. The five year old frowns a little then screws up her courage and climbs out of bed. She almost falls, as the bed is higher off the ground than she expects. Going over to the door, she reaches up and turns the knob. Outside is a long hallway with more doors.]
Big Brother?
[She receives no reply. Lips puckering in a pout, Lenalee steps out into the hall, letting the door fall shut behind her. It's only after she's taken a couple steps that she worries she might not find this room again. But when she looks behind her, she sees her name on the door. This is quite odd, but it reassures her that she'll know where she started.]
Big Brother?
[Feet padding quietly, Lenalee continues her search for her most important person.]

[Lenalee yawns a little as she makes her way to the kitchen. For all she hadn't been sleeping well, for her to sleep in is a surprise even to her. A good strong cup of coffee will set her right, and thus the kitchen as her destination. But due to the lingering sleep in her eyes or perhaps just her own inattention, she doesn't see the person passing through the door of the kitchen until she runs into them.]
Oh dear, I'm so sorry, I wasn't...
[And then she notices that she can't step back. Oh dear indeed.]

I found a piece of glass in the Ballroom. Well, mirror really. Strange. Breaking a mirror is supposed to be seven years bad luck, right? I wonder where it came from. There weren't any other pieces near by.

[Between various things happening in the house, the most recent being the strangely vivid nightmare she had, Lenalee hasn't yet had a chance to tell Kanda about the conversation she had with Hannah. The nightmare had left her quite unsettled for the next day or so. Even now it still seems like it had all been a dream, but when she looks at the date on her device, there is a day that is unaccounted for... except by that dream turned nightmare.
The odd song still following her as it had been all day (though was it finally starting to get fainter?), Lenalee leaves her room and walks down the hall to knock on Kanda's door. Poe, her still ever constant shadow, hovers in the air just behind her. It's late... but she has a feeling Kanda'll still be up as she calls through the door.]
Kanda? It's Lenalee.

[She must have fallen asleep at some point. Laid down to take a nap or something. Because before she knows it, Lenalee is in the middle of a familiar nightmare. Not that she realizes it at first though, as she's too wrapped up in the scene around her.
The sky is an eerie shade of rose that makes one think more of blood than of flowers. A black crescent moon hangs in the sky overhead, as out of place as the rose-colored heavens. All around her is the ruin of a great stone building -- arches, columns, and towers all tumbled and sinking into the dark water below.
Lenalee sits on top of the rubble, looking out over the ruined headquarters of the Black Order, the building that had been her home, unwillingly and willingly, since she'd been brought there as a small child. There air is too still for comfort, and too silent except for random small splashes as sections of building crack off and fall. Splashes that sound muffled and dulled.
The most worrisome detail is the lack of people. Nowhere can Lenalee see her brother or the other members of the Science Department, or her fellow Exorcists. There's no one at all. No one, until she looks down and sees the body laying in her lap. The body of someone very dear to her. Only then does she let herself scream.]

They probably aren't real. The one I did return vanished with her. It's not as if someone went fishing to the bottom of the ocean to find these.

[Lenalee has been having a little trouble sleeping since Allen had vanished. To say she is worried about him would be correct. Of course, she always worries about Allen. And Kanda. And Lavi. And the rest of the Black Order. But especially Allen.
And so when 2am rolls around and she is wide awake instead of asleep, she leaves her room quietly and make her way to the kitchen. The raven, Poe, which has been her constant companion ever since she found the Leaky Room flaps along silently behind her, like a second shadow.]

It seems more and more people arrive each day. The number leaving, however that's managed, is quite small though. I'm still surprised this house can hold so many people. I don't recall it looking that large from the outside.
The greenhouse is a welcome find. There are some herb beds in there, which will be quite nice to cook with. Fresh herbs make everything taste much better. Though, I would very much like for whichever room to be found that will allow for more hot water. I keep ending up with cold showers!

I finally managed to get into a room. It wasn't the kitchen though. There were some couches and a radio, and three other doors. The radio didn't receive a signal of any sort; I checked both bands. Oddly enough, there's a drip from a pipe in the ceiling, right in the center of the room. I couldn't open the three other doors.
There was also a bird in the room, a raven I think, especially considering the name tag on his foot reads "Poe." I left him where he was, but he seems to have taken it upon himself to follow me and I can't seem to shoo him away.

Still no sign of the kitchen. And since this new chess room is located where the kitchen had originally been, it's safe to say it could be anywhere now. Any yet there's only the two halls. I feel like I've tried to open all those doors a hundred times.

Can't seem to find anything about this B.M. person. I've asked the System Manager, but I have a feeling it will be difficult getting any sort of information out of him. Or her. For some reason I feel the individual is male though.
And for another thing. Each day he or she posts saying there have been attacks and killings, and yet... I haven't heard a thing. Despite the size of this house, I would expect to at least hear an altercation. I know they occur. Kanda was attacked twice.
[she sighs and there's the sound of a mug being set down]
Each new piece of information just leads to more questions.

I've only been here one day, but already the situation seems quite dire. Someone was killed, others were attacked. What's next?
[more rustling of sheets as she shifts around, not wanting to get out of bed so early, but also not remotely tired]

This is quite ridiculous. No matter what I try, I can't open the front door again! Brother's probably already heard that I've been separated from my Finder. And then there's my mission in Greece that I need to continue on to. We're so short on personnel as it is. I can't go disappearing on them. Still, it makes me wonder if there is an Innocence here in this house. If there is, I need to find it. I can't help but be extremely bothered by finding my name on a door though. Someone knew I was coming, and long term arrangements are not a good sign. This console seems to be connected to some sort of network. I shall read it momentarily.
